Basic and necessary facilities along the whole yatra track like water, Eatingjoints, shelters, medical aid and public conveiences are made available by shrine board.     Kali Mata Temple - 4 km away from Hotel Meridian Palace (10 min. from Hotel Meridian Palace):

    The temple of Maha Kali (better known as Bahu or Bawey Wali Mata), located in the Bahu Fort, is considered second only to Mata Vaishno Devi in terms of mystical power. The temple was built shortly after the coronation of Maharaja Gulab Singh in 1822. Maha Kali Mandir is the most prominent temple in Reasi town situated in district Reasi of J&K state. It is located on a hilltop close to the Reasi Bus Stand in the heart of the main city. It is said that 300 years ago Kalika Mata( Maha Kali ) came in the dream of Pandit Jagat Ram Sharma and indicated her presence in the form of a Pindi (stone) lying under ground on this hill. On excavation of the area the Pindi was found. Thereafter a small temple was constructed on the hill and Pandit Jagat Ram Sharma became the caretaker. Over the years the temple has gained prominence due to a strong belief of the people in Kalika Mata( Maha Kali ). The local people have contributed to the development of this temple. The devotees visit the temple in large numbers during the days of Navratra this temple is worth visiting.


    Mansar Lake - 35 km away from Hotel Meridian Palace (50 min. from Hotel Meridian Palace):

    The beautiful Mansar Lake is situated at a distance of 62 kilometers from the city of Jammu and 40 kilometers from the Udhampur city. The bountiful nature abounds near the lake in plenty. The Mansar Lake is surrounded by hills that are rich in forest areas. Circumambulating the lake is believed to bring good fortune to the newly wedded couples. That is why honeymooners often visit the lake to take an auspicious stroll around it. The circumference of the lake is four kilometers. The area around the lake has been laid with stones by the Tourist Department paving a walkway for the visitors. The department has also arranged for provisions for boating in the lake. The shrine of the serpent deity, the Sheshnag is situated on the eastern bank of the lake. The snake god has six heads and is flanked by small snakes shaped by iron chains. Umapati Mahadev and Narsimha are the two ancient and religious temples located near the lake. Another tourist destination of the region is the wildlife sanctuary, which is home to a number of water birds and animals like the neelgai and the spotted deer.
